Conserve our Coastal Areas

Preserve the beauty of coral reefs If our forests are essential to our socio-economic development, it is the same way with our coastal areas.  This is one of the main reasons why it's important to conserve our marine environment while we still can. In Asia and Pacific region most communities depend on the coastal resources thus making some of these areas over exploited which threatened the rich biodiversity in these areas. Some of the reasons of this degradation of coastal areas include over exploitation, destructive fishing and conversion of marine environment into ecotourism projects and aquaculture.
